“Environment ↔ home”

The Hungarian Association of EPS Thermal Insulation Producers (MEPS), organized a professional national conference with the title “Environment ↔ home” on the 20th May on the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, about new issues within the profession, and about environment conscious construction. Ferling PR was responsible for the complete organization of the conference and its related press communication.

On the II. MEPS Conference solutions and guidelines have been proposed in the field of constructing buildings, and the interaction related to energetics between existing buildings and their environment. The main objective is to achieve the best possible comfort with the least possible use of energy. Environmental conscious construction – with low energy consuming and passive houses – leads the way to the future by aspiring to build such human-focused houses.

MEPS, founded in 2006, is the first professional association of EPS thermal insulation producers. Its founding members include the most significant expanded polystyrene foam producers in Hungary. Current president of the association is Zoltán Kecső, managing director of NIKECELL Kft.
Members of the Chamber of Hungarian Architects or the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers received credit points for participating on the event.
